If you are single and are not faithful to God, then you will have difficulties being faithful to your spouse. You may be single in the flesh but you are not single in the Spirit because God is your spouse. If you are not faithful to Him, then you will not be faithful to anyone.

In the early days of your marriage, you may be “excited”, often not for the right reasons. However, as you grow in the wisdom of love, you learn to better understand the true essence of marriage. It is for both parties to “die to self”. Have you ever wondered why elderly couples, are not as “excited”? It is because they have grown to better understand the soul of marriage.
